SEO Case Study 4.

I have another client in New Zealand that owns an e-commerce website. She wanted SEO done, but she built her own website herself, and didn't want to give someone else free run on her site, so she didn't know what was happening, she also wanted the investment she was to make in SEO to have the very best effect it could have. 

I offered her an SEO consultancy service, I suggest various SEO strategies to her, and she does what seo techniques I recommend, and sometimes she would pass on something SEO or SEM that I would suggest, I liked this, becuase and this is it is her website after all.

Since August 2008 (last year) her websites home page google page-rank has gone from PR1 to PR4, and several of her internal pages now have their own google pagerank as well.

The number of Unique Visitors has increase from 5876 visitors per month in August 2008 to 13627 in January 2009. (unique visitors are visitors that haven’t visited the website before)

The Bounce Rate on her site went from 67% in August '08 down to on 39% in Jan '09. (Bounce rate means visitors that only view one page, before leaving the site)

Average Time on Site increased by almost 2 minutes, and the average number of pages viewed per visited increased by 2.19 pages

Her website was ranking fairly well for some keywords, and her site was being found using 1895 different keyphrases in August 2008; by January that number had increased to 4890 different keywords and keyphrases.

Out of the top those 4890 different keywords people used in search engines to find the website the top 350 referring keywords I tested, the pie graph shows what % of keywords rank in www.Google.co.nz

Visitors and sales from her site were now coming from not only New Zealand, but also from these countries in this order, New Zealand, Australia, United States, Great Britain, Russian Federation, Canada, Germany, France, Singapore, Netherlands, Ireland, Indonesia, China, Japan, United Arab Emirates, Sweden, Malaysia, South Africa, Mexico, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Philippines, Norway and a few other countries, with less than 20 visitors a month.
